At the Mayoral Debate, held Sunday, February 22, a question regarding development on land adjacent to Quarry Hill Conservancy was asked to the City of Middleton Mayoral Candidates. The question and the candidates’ responses can be viewed below (33:09)
Response from Friends of Quarry Hill Conservancy: Quarry Hill Conservancy is the last remaining natural, undeveloped, wooded green space visible from and adjacent to downtown Middleton, WI. Friends of Quarry Hill Conservancy is committed to protecting the conservancy area from threats such as light and noise pollution caused by development along its borders, not only for the inhabitants of the conservancy, but also for the enjoyment of the community at large. We are open to dialoguing with others, community members and City leaders alike, regarding how best to restore, preserve, and protect Quarry Hill Conservancy.
Located just south of Downtown Middleton, Quarry Hill Conservancy is a natural urban canopy, enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
